Analyzing the meaning of the exposed tunnels in NYC

That’s what the NYC tunnel controversy is about…

First, Zionism is too general and too much of a catch-all term. This post will explain the difference between soft Zionism (for which I'll use the term "cosmopolitan Jews") and hard Zionism (for which I'll use the term "religious Jews") . Each faction has a different vision of what Zionism means, and what they want Zionism to be.

Will I oversimplify? Of course. But oversimplification can be a good method to get a bird’s-eye-view of difficult subjects, and see the forest from the trees.

Let's start with a simple question... who has more power? 

Cosmopolitan Jews or religious Jews? Soft Zionism or hard Zionism? In other words, the age old question in right-wing circles, who’s really controlling who? America or Israel?

The answer is simple. America has more power than Israel. And cosmopolitan Jews have more power than religious Jews. Elites in Washington - among other liberal cities, such as New York - dictate to Tel Aviv.

But the liberal order is in decline... the stress of which is causing this split to rupture.

Jews in Israel want to use the last husk of the US empire to create the infamous and mythical "Greater Israel," which they desire to become an explicitly Jewish empire. First, they need to solve the Palestinian Question in Gaza and the West Bank, which they dreamed of using the present conflict for… before it went sour. They also want to use the US military to attack Hezbollah in Lebanon and to attack Iran, the latter they’ve wanted since it’s inception. They know Israel, as presently constructed, cannot exist without the US Empire, and so they're in a race against time to get their larger project started before the US fades away...

The cosmopolitan Jews want the liberal order to last forever. Their idea of Israel is a regional bulwark against Iran, a rooted vacation spot for holidays, a safe place for Jews where they won't face extradition if they commit crimes in countries where they have dual citizenship. It's like the 51st state for America, and one they hold in higher regard than the other 50 states combined. However, they don't regard it higher than the "End of History," which is another way of saying the Liberal World Order as the final form of political evolution for humanity.

They're pissed at how much social capital their brethren in Israel have blown since October 7th at their expense. They're pissed their Israeli brothers are engaging in machinations to escalate and draw them into a regional war, which they cannot win. They're tired of not being listened to, and feel like events are beyond their grasp and control. They also suspect Mossad knew of the attack on October 7th... initiating this entire quagmire...

Thus, just like the giant protests in Israel against Netanyahu (and against his proposed changes in their judiciary), the tunnel system getting exposed is also an op launched by the cosmopolitan Jews. The leadership at the synagogue will give whatever rationalization necessary, because this fracture in the Jewish community is not meant to be public.

But make no mistake, cosmopolitan Jews want this war in Gaza over. They don't want their liberal empire to end. They don't want the Biden administration to be continually soiled in an election year, because they have an irrational hatred of what Trump is and what he represents. Remember, this occurred at the Chabad world headquarters, no less.
